Breedon’s General Purpose Masonry Mortar is kiln dried, pre-blended, factory produced 1:6 cement: sand mortar and is easy to use and will stand the test of time.

Applications:
General Purpose Masonry Mortar is a flexible product ideal for a wide variety of applications including bricklaying, repointing, laying blocks, patios, paving slabs as well as general masonry repairs. IT should be stored in unopened bags clear of the ground, in cool dry conditions and protected from damp, frost, heat and excessive draught. One bag of General Purpose Masonry Mortar will give you approximately 12 litres of fresh mortar which should be enough to lay 20 standard house bricks or 12x100mm blocks laid with a uniform 10mm joint.

Technical Information
Strength will develop beyond the initial set time stated and has been assessed at 28 days. Setting and curing times will vary depending on water content used and ambient weather conditions. To assist the curing process, it is important that all cement-based materials are protected after placement, to avoid moisture loss, freezing and effects of hot and cold weather conditions.
